TransBIOTech carries out its operations in the Cégep de Lévis-Lauzon’s technology complex. This building evaluated at $5,000,000 is fully dedicated to performing applied research and providing services to companies.

Molecular biology, immunology, microbiology, cell culture and analytical chemistry laboratories are at the scientific team’s disposal. A laboratory animal facility for small rodents, certified by the Canadian Council on Animal Care, is also available to the centre’s or companies’ researchers for experimental design. The laboratories meet Health Canada’s containment level 2 standards.

To perform its research and provide assistance and analytical services, TransBIOTech employs a team of molecular biologists, biochemists, chemists, immunologists, microbiologists, biotechnology and analytical chemistry technicians who hold doctor’s, master’s bachelor’s degrees and college diplomas specialized in the field of biotechnology.
